Arne Peys is a researcher at VITO, the Flemish Institute for Technological Research. He follows up several projects on the development of cement constituents and artificial aggregates from mineral waste streams. In the NEMO project, Arne is in charge of the lab scale development of the granulation process to transform mine tailings into aggregates and will soon try to transfer this knowledge to the pilot scale.
