The pilot produces artificial aggregates for construction purposes. The automated storage and dosing unit integrated with a high intensity mixer (75 L) can produce granules (from a combination of binders and water) or concrete (binders, sand, water + coarse aggregates). The input materials can be either commercially available resources or treated waste materials such as tailings or slags.
A temperature and humidity controlled climate chamber is used for curing. Overall, the pilot has a capacity of up to 1 ton product/day. The system is built into containers for easy transport.
