5-6 November 2019, Espoo, Finland: The Symposium brings together researchers and industry experts to share latest results and developments in the area of Process Metallurgy, or extracting metals from their primary and secondary raw materials in a sustainable manner. The symposium is co-organized by the Horizon2020 European Training network SOCRATES, which targets the sustainable valorisation of critical-metal-containing industrial process residues using plasma-, bio-, solvo-, electro- and ionometallurgy, that can be integrated into environmentally friendly, (near-) zero-waste valorisation flow sheets. Sulphidic mine tailings are one of the target streams of SOCRATES. Register here.
